Don’t Surround Yourself with Yourself
In the northern hemisphere winter’s end is making way for the birth of spring. Pisces season will soon give way to Aries this month and the start of the astrological wheel of the year – my true New Year aligned with many of the ancient cultures. Spring promises growth, a new season, and the planting of seeds that will later bear fruit. This Worm Moon is named from indigenous cultures that observed their natural environment and say the earthworms waking from hibernation and becoming active in the soil again. You, too, are being called to awaken. The nesting, the resting and the hibernation of winter are coming to a close. This Full Moon is an invitation to stir yourself awake. To put hand to plow. To being planting the seeds you’d like to see germinate and bloom in the wheel of the year ahead.
I’ve Seen All Good People Turn Their Heads Each Day So Satisfied
Adding to the beauty of that Virgo energy is the lunar eclipse. Lunar eclipses remind us that a cycle is ending and it’s time to close a chapter to start a new one. Marry the holistic with the analytical, the pondering with the doing, and move forward with a project or idea that you’ve been sitting on for the last 6-12 months. It’s a time to get out of your head and dreams and into your tangible work. Dreams don’t work unless you do. Virgos know that. You can embrace it, too.
