We're Hiring!  

We are hiring for both year-round and seasonal positions to help grow our beautiful, bespoke apothecary in Homer! We carry high-vibing crystals, unique home decor, natural skin/body care, herbal teas, handcrafted herbal tinctures and mushroom powders, lots of metaphysical books, oracle decks and more! We are seeking a year-round part-time and a seasonal part-time employee who can help us scale and grow our business. Day-to-day includes opening the store, restocking shelves, packing online orders for shipment, interacting with/assisting our customers, operating our point of sale system, and closing down the store at day's end. Familiarity with Square (our payment system), our product lines and excellent customer service are daily required skills.

• Customer obsessed - we love our customers, they're our community, and we take care to treat each person that walks through the door with dignity, attention and care 

• Reliable - this is a small, woman-owned, active-duty military family-owned business and we take punctuality and reliability very seriously! You would be a critical part of a small, agile team that we need to be able to depend on. The current owner can't do this alone! You are punctual, reliable and give lots of notice when you need time off so other arrangements can be made to cover the store.  

• Honest AF - you are honest, in your actions, deeds and words. We are a shop based on integrity, if you don't know the answer - it's okay to say so - our customers depend on that honesty. If you have questions - you ask. Your honesty is critical to the success of our small business. 

• Into the things we stock - you do not need to be an expert on any one area of the shop, but you should be curious and interested in the things we stock like all-natural products, crystals, metaphysical topics, astrology and just open-minded and curious by nature 

• Have a little sparkle - we are a bespoke boutique - we don't have a dress code per se, but we are definitely more business casual. Jeans and hoodie are not part of our brand. Neither is a business power suit. We're somewhere in between. You would have some polish and sparkle in how you present yourself and show up to work.  

• Drug-free - marijuana is legal in Alaska but you would never be on shift in the boutique while under the influence of any alcohol or drugs. That isn't conducive to our ethos or our mission. Zero tolerance policy. 

• Fun! At the end of the day, our customers come back because they feel safe, happy and seen in our store. We love the products we carry and take our mission and branding very seriously - but we should be having fun, too! Our customers sense the fun and take part in it. 

Year-Round Position (1): 

Store Hours: Thursday - Saturday, 12-5pm

• Thursday, Friday, Saturday, 11:45am - 5:15pm (the store is open 12-5 + opening/closing procedures) 

• $20/hour 

• Hiring immediately

 Seasonal Position(s) (1-2): 

May 1 - September 14 (employment season)

Store hours: Wed - Sat, 12-6; Sunday, 10-2pm

• Wednesday - Saturday, 11:45 - 6:15 (the store is open 12-6pm, + opening/closing procedures)

• Sunday, 9:45am - 2:15pm, (the store is open 10-2pm, + opening/closing procedures)

• $20/hr

• We are looking for someone who can commit to the full season and all shifts, if possible. If you have restrictions (dates you know you couldn't support because of travel, going back to college, etc.) it isn't necessarily a deal-breaker, we are open to working with you, but we would need to know up front to plan for those gaps in store coverage - again, honesty and communication are huge factors for us!
