Full Moon Prep: October’s Full Moon in Taurus + Partial Lunar Eclipse
Preparing for the Full Moon + Partial Lunar Eclipse in Taurus on October 28, 2023
The Moon is exalted in Taurus but that doesn’t mean smooth sailing with this powerful lunar event. Rather the needs, desires and wants of your own life may not be aligning well to the requests and needs of your partner. Tread carefully, dear hearts. This New Moon on the 28th is very close to Samhain, a time of powerful portal between the living and the dead, and this eclipse amplifies and quickens the winding down of things. It might be easy to decouple or to detach with the intensity of this event, so before you make any big decisions, slow down and make sure you’re prepared to live with the consequences of any big decisions you make at the end of this month.
Conscious Decoupling
A term much mocked by the media, you may want to spend the time now, while things are a big clearer, considering if you want to be in partnership or not (romantic, work, otherwise). If you want to be coupled, be cautious over the Full Moon. The energy is amped up and its easy for misunderstandings to occur. If you don’t want to be coupled in any specific relationship any longer – the Full Moon will be an ideal time to quicken the decoupling. In the immortal words of one of my favorite bands Rage Against the Machine, “F*ck it, cut the cord.” You won’t be the voiceless or disempowered during this Full Moon – but beware your actions.
Try a Pendulum
Have you used a pendulum before? If not, consider purchasing one for this Full Moon. The use is simple, easy to understand and easy to use. Using a pendulum is a great way to get clear guidance from your subconscious and your spirit guides. I like pendulums as well because they work best with clear yes/no questions. This gives you a chance to get very clear, ahead of time, about what you want to ask. Clarity of thought and question helps actions before easier.
